Global Networks
In our effort to enhance the field of
youth civic engagement globally,
ICP serves as
a secretariat to the leading network in global
service-learning in higher
education, the Talloires Network, and to the
only global national youth service
organization, the International Association of
National Youth Service
(IANYS).
The Talloires Network
In 2005, ICP
was named the secretariat for the Talloires
Network, an international
consortium of higher education institutions
committed to serving and
strengthening the societies of which they are
a part. Network members agree to
promote
the civic roles and social responsibilities of
their institutions as well as to
deepen engagement with local and global
communities.
Presently funded by
Tufts
University , the
network is expanding as
members measure their civic engagement, plan
for the future, and participate in
a Global Project focusing on literacy and the
Education for All
campaign.
If you are an
institution of
higher education and would like to join,

International Association for National Youth Service (IANYS)
In
2007, ICP was selected as the permanent
secretariat for the International Association for National
Youth Service (IANYS), a global
network of
professionals working in the youth civic
engagement and youth development
fields, with a particular focus on national
service and service-learning.
